Bend me , Break me , Bending down is easy AS LONG AS I WANT YOU BABY IT'S ALRIGHT ” the boy growled between clenched teeth as he glanced down, A boy, had stepped on Ollie’s foot. Only something unexpected and hurtful would have caused such a reaction, and what was worse was the Oliver had forgotten his shoes. Careful so he didn’t allow anymore careless idiots to wander on his feet again, he made his way out of the halls. Instead of walking again to the community center he walked outside through the thick snow to the main building. It had been a while since he had gone to safe haven of the other patients, so Ollie walked to the parlour on the first floor. He pushed open the door to the parlour, he was a little upset that no one was inside, but he thought positive and thought that this time could be the perfect opportunity to think. Everyone else must have been in group, therapy, or getting dinner, he was beyond knowing what time it was. Slumping onto the large couch as it was far too tempting not to lie down across it, it certainly beat his bed, and everything that belonged in the smith Residence. He was going to rest his eyes when he heard the sound of the door opening. Maybe his currently indivisible company would keep him awake a little while with some interesting conversation, but if not, he was going to sleep. Sometimes I get a little wild please forgive me. _____________________________________ _____________________________________ Pressing her sweater’s sleeves to her mouth, Dulcie blew warm air down them in an attempt to warm up her freezing hands. After spending a week in solitude, she was determined to stay out of her room as long as possible each day. The first week she had just been satisfied with spending her day in the activity rooms where she’d play her Gameboy and knit, only leaving to eat in the mess hall and eventually return to her room on the second floor. A pair of socks and a scarf later, Dulcie was getting quite bored of this routine. As a result, she decided to explore the premises to pass the time.
So far, all she’d covered was the rest of the entrance hall areas and the whole second floor. Now it was time to enter new territories. Deciding to work her way up the building, Dulcie went to the first floor right after eating breakfast. Thus far, the most exciting things that had happened to her were finding where people meet with family members -not that she was too eager to put them to use with her current guardians- and getting shooed out of the kitchen. She’d also discovered that areas where bedrooms weren’t located were a lot colder. Then she went in circles for about twenty minutes as she wandered through the halls after taking a lunch break, until finally finding her way to a new area, which was just as uninteresting as the rest of the floor. Once, Dulcie thought she heard someone walking nearby, and she guiltily looked around for a place to hide in the barren hall, but no one came into sight. Deciding it was just the silence playing tricks on her mind, she continued exploring.
Just a bit more to go, Dulcie thought, looking down a hallway that she was positive was the only place left. Opening the first few doors found her only supply closets and what appeared to be storage rooms, full of extra chairs, unused decorations -is that blood on that little statue? Wow…ok, I guess this is the stuff they deemed a hazard to have near us- and dust. The three doors after were locked, leaving only one, which was directly at the end of the hall. Coming closer, she noticed a sign next to the door which read ‘Room 1-22: Parlour.’ “Parlour, eh? Sounds…fancy,” Dulcie mumbled before reaching a cold hand out and grasping the smooth handle. Turning it, it smoothly opened with a small click, revealing a considerably warmer room full of plush seating arrangements, some finely polished tables, and a well-stocked book shelf. It also revealed a nurse, who was lounging on a large couch and staring in her direction. The sight of the nurse caused her to jump, startled over the first person she’d seen in hours, and she hastily started apologizing for intruding, followed by apologizing for being in there if she wasn’t supposed to be, and finishing her apologies in concern of possibly offending them when she jumped at the sight of them. Tugging at her sweater sleeves anxiously, Dulcie worriedly looked upon the nurse, fearful she was going to get in trouble. However, as she stared, she noticed something: he had no shoes. He was also looked unhealthily thin, with the same pinched look that many of the patients had, and rather young. For a moment, Dulcie considered not saying anything, but her curiosity got the best of her. “Um…are you actually a nurse?” Dulcie asked timidly. “I’m sorry if you are, but…well, I guess either way this is a reasonable question: where are your shoes? It’s a little too…wintery, to be without, isn’t it?” Subconsciously, she looked down at her own feet that were covered by a simple pair of black flats and her pink and green socks (that were thankfully hidden by her too-long jeans) which she had recently knitted to combat the cold interior of the building. Bend me , Break me , Bending down is easy AS LONG AS I WANT YOU BABY IT'S ALRIGHT Ollie thought while sizing her up. He didn’t really know what he wanted in a girl’s body. And perhaps it was the bad lighting, because in any other setting Ollie would have jumped on it. “ I’m not wearing any shoes because I am immune to the cold, it something that comes in handy while being on duty in this hole of a place. Better question though who are you and why are you not where you are supposed to be? This room is off limits, especially for nosy people. You’ll be lucky if you don’t spend the next month in the dark bricked box, of seclusion. Now explain yourself missy!” Ollie joked, he had always thought about screwing with another’s mind in this place but had never gotten the opportunity. There he was lying down on that couch, enjoying every minute of the afternoon, in his green scrubs. He got up into a sitting position and looked at the young girl crossly, he wasn’t going to hurt her, not at all, he was the least danger that the girl would face in that room. What would have happened if an actual nurse came in, would he or she beat into the both of them? Ollie hoped not. Impersonating a nurse was a big no no in the resort, much like impersonating a police officer and beating the crap out of someone innocent. This game was fun though the most fun that had had in a long while. He pulled off the glasses and looked at the girl again while the light from the room stung his eyes. The throbbing sensation had always plagued the boy as soon as he removed the glasses from his eyes; it was something that he had grown to live with. “ Well? Cat got your tongue? ” he laughed when she didn’t answer right away, there was something about her in this light that he liked and decided to let her in on a little bit about himself… things that were, may I say, complete bullshit. My name is Mr. Dennis Hopper, head doctor in this sector. I take care of disciplinary action, so I would make me happy if you know what’s good for you” he threatened. Again this was just a playful threat but the boy was very curious from what she would do.
