(Really, he can be a bit of a mother hen -but so help you God if you mention it..)
Animalistic behaviour which has also led to multiple murders and cannibalism. Sadistic personality disorder is evident, narcissistic personality disorder probable, and there are psychopathic characteristics. However, he has real emotions towards his ‘pack members’ which include guilt and caring, revealing that this behaviour towards others is not a disorder but more likely a cause of his past and other disorders.Family:

Petr and Tatianna should never have become parents, plain and simple.
Petr was irresponsible and lazy, and his parents thought of him only with shame. Indeed, the stress he put on his family with his frequent substance abuse and gambling debts was likely what sent his father to an early grave at sixty. However, when his mother found out she was dying her good heart wouldn’t let her leave him with nothing, so she gave him an ultimatum: get married and a steady job and receive inheritance, or don’t and get nothing at all. While this inheritance wasn’t substantial, Petr needed whatever he could get. So, he went to a strip club and proposed to his favourite girl there, Tatianna Golubev. Being shallow and in need of money (not knowing Petr’s true financial status), she married him.
When the two got married, and only a few months later conceived a child, Petr’s mother was pleased that her plan to make her son mature had worked, and a few months later she died, leaving her son with his inheritance, which she had generously added her –albeit rundown- home. She never did find out where he’d found Tatianna, or that she was just as bad as him but with even more of a temper and a cruel streak, or that their child was the result of her sleeping with some random she met at a party.
So Grigori was born into a home with a father who couldn’t love his whore-wives child, and a mother who just didn’t seem to love anything. Verbal and physical abuse were commonplace, as was neglect. From age three, whenever they got tired of him (which was almost all of the time), they’d put him in the basement with the five dogs that Petr had bought with the intent to train them for fighting just as the local ring was busted by police. While these dogs never received this training, most of them were mean-spirited and aggressive, which forced Grigori to quickly learn how to behave around them –only, with his only experience of peaceful dog interaction being between dogs, he learned to be like one of them.
When he started kindergarten, he was very unsure of how to behave around people. For the most part, he did alright, figuring out how to get people to like him and even making friends. However, after a few months the teacher noticed repeated occurrences of behaviour that weren’t quite right, like his constant need to domineer his peers, or that he’d growl and bite during confrontation and occasionally bark at things. Finally, when she caught him peeing on another student, she decided to mention his behaviour to his parents, who immediately drew the connection and changed his schools. Before he started his new school they made it very clear that if he didn’t act like a normal person at the new one he’d severely regret it.
For the most part, he not only did this but actually charmed his way into favouritism with all his peers and teachers, quickly learning how to manipulate. However, his animal-like tendencies never stopped; they just became a well-kept secret. At school, he found weak people who wouldn’t tell on him, and at home (when he wasn’t locked in the basement) he would sneak out at night and roam the streets being himself –being an animal.
During middle school, a teacher –who’d noticed signs of abuse on him- finally got the proof she needed, and Grigori’s home life was revealed.
He was sent to live with Tatianna’s mom.
Grigori had never met his grandmother (well, Babushka to him), Yeva Golubev, before because for some unknown reason –which he never did find out- his mother hated her. He couldn’t figure out why, since she was a perfectly lovely woman to him, and quickly became the first person he not only trusted but loved; his first pack member.
As she was determined to make up for her daughter’s treatment, Yeva accepted him (unknowing of his true self) and kept him home for the rest of his middle school education. She also taught him English, which she knew quite well from living in Canada from age five to nineteen (when she then met a family friend’s son, whom she went back to Russia with and married), as well as the basics of many European languages. A quick learner, Grigori was well-prepared when he entered high school, where he once again charmed everyone with his personality, brains, and natural talent at rough sports. He continued his pattern of controlling the weak and haunting the streets by night, but it became boring.
That’s when he discovered the joys of killing for sport. This was quickly followed by him finding out how delicious humans were.
He was careful to not get caught, and until he was seventeen all went smoothly; it would have gone even smoother, had his grandmother not died of a heart attack while grocery shopping one day. Not being an adult yet, Grigori was put in a foster home, which was owned by one woman who had two other teens fostering in her house.
He killed all three, eating his fill, then taking all the money in the house, he vanished.
Knowing he’d be wanted for murder, Grigori spent years traveling Eurasia. For the most part he was alone, only bothering with others when he could get something out of them, or was killing them. Though at twenty-one, while hiding in Florence for the second time, he came across two others like him, whom he formed a pack with and had some of the best times of his life with, and even made it to America with.
He was the first to get caught; a policeman had found them, and they baited the pack with what looked like an unsuspecting person. Grigori was the one to come across them, and as he went in for the kill he found himself getting tasered from two sides, successfully bringing him down. From then on Grigori was passed through a long series of jails and mental hospitals, as they kept finding him too hard to deal with. Finally, Aldridge stepped in, proudly saying that if they couldn’t handle him, no one could.
Grigori’s quite determined to put them in their place.
